Q: How is a member assigned to a Service Group?

A:  A member  is assigned to a Service Group is to each by location

     (his / her zip code) and / or special situation as follows:

 

a)   Singles and married couples less than 55 years of age are assigned to one of the Service Groups with an identification number that ranges from 1 through 12.

b)   Members 55 years of age or more are assigned to the Young At Heart Service Group as well as by geographical location

c)   Members 18 years of age and under are assigned to the Youth Service Group

Q: Who is my Service Group Leader?

A:  See the Service Group Listing for a detailed roster of Service Group
     Leaders by zip code.

Q: What is a Service Area?

A:  It is a subset of a Service Group that has been divided into smaller
     groups  that is responsible for coordinating and delivering service in one
     of six predefined areas: Visitation, Meals, Transportation, Funerals,
     Encouragement & Mentoring and Infant Care Packages. Additionally,
     various task assignments are needed within each Service Area.

Q: How do I get involved in the Service Group Ministry?

A:  Please contact the Service Group Ministry Coordinators, Bro. and Sis.
     James Wright; after determining your zip code, they will assist you in
     determining your geographical Service Group Leaders who can then
     direct you to a Service Area.
