Our focus for the year will be Friendship Evangelism. A friendship is an effective springboard for sharing the Gospel. The initial means for implementing Friendship Evangelism will be to establish relationships within the community. Efforts are in progress to contact twelve apartment complexes in the surrounding area to inform residents of the various works and services of Greenville Avenue. Following is a brief list of services we are offering the community.

• Support Groups – Addictions (various), Adolescence, Cancer Recovery, Coping with Conflicts in Marriage and Family, Developing and Maintaining Healthy Relationships and Grief Recovery

•  Youth Activities – various activities throughout the year

• Various Events sponsored by the Singles          

• Benevolence Outreach

• Transportation to Worship Services and Bible Classes

• GACC Bible Institute

• Home Bible Studies

• Bible Correspondence Courses

Once a month, PEFS (Personal Evangelism Foot Soldiers) will visit an apartment complex to distribute door hangers or flyers. The door hangers or flyers will contain information for the services mentioned above. This is not the traditional door knocking activity. The PEFS will place hangers or flyers on all doors of an apartment complex ---- no request will be made for classes at this time. Once visits are made to Greenville Avenue, we will have more opportunities to share Christ.
